Welcome to Petit Ranceau! Located in the picturesque countryside of Burgundy, at the end of a dead-end road lies our charming Kingfisher Cabin waiting to be discovered. In our cozy cabin, you can immerse yourself in the peace and natural beauty of the French countryside. Whether you are looking for a place for a romantic weekend, a workation or want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our cabin offers the perfect environment to fully unwind. The cabin features a modern and bright space with living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom (double bed 160x200). The kitchen is equipped with a stove / oven, a Nespresso machine, milk frother, kettle, refrigerator with freezer and has an extensive inventory. The cabin is completely private with its own spacious garden (1200 m2), located at the end of a cul-de-sac.
Nature and surroundings
Enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch with the sound of birds singing. Relax on one of the sunbeds in the garden and enjoy the view of our lake, the vegetable garden and our only neighbors, the well-known "charolais" cows. During the hot summer days you can cool down in our inviting swimming pool (8x4 meters), located on a hill on our property. The adjacent terrace offers an ideal place to sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful view of the rolling hills.The nearest village of Saint-Saulge is 1.5 km away with a supermarket, bakery, café, stores and restaurant.Visit one of the many charming brocant markets or vide-greniers in the area. Admire the beauty of the area with its rolling countryside and beautiful views of the hills of the Morvan Natural Park. The area is very suitable for hiking and cycling (including along Canal du Nivernais). Suggestions for activities in the area are available in the cabin.
