The vacation apartment where you will be staying... We live in a low-energy house in which ecological building materials have been used. When the sun is shining, the hot water and underfloor heating are covered by solar energy. There is also a photovoltaic system to supply the vacation apartment with electricity and the toilets are flushed with rainwater. The nearby Cologne/Bonn airport can cause irregular night-time aircraft noise. The apartment has an air circulation system with heat recovery. This leads the used air past a heat exchanger. The fresh, incoming air is thus pre-heated and saves energy. All rooms receive fresh air without having to open a window. Look forward to our house, located directly on the edge of the forest. We offer you a cozy 72 sqm apartment on the second floor including a 45 sqm sun terrace and private entrance. Behind our property, a hiking trail leads you 700 m to the banks of the Wahnbach dam. Immerse yourself in the shelter of the trees without meeting a soul. Silently watch the game on their way to their feeding grounds. An ideal hiking and mountain biking area invites you to go on extended tours. Stroll through the sun and wind flooded fields and enjoy the view far into the Siebengebirge and to Cologne. For a change, the cities of Siegburg, Bonn or Cologne invite you to visit them, which are 7 km / 20 km / 30 km away from us. Take the opportunity to stroll through the car-free town centers. Visit the Benedictine monastery in Siegburg, the Beethoven House in Bonn or Cologne Cathedral.
