Welcome to our nature house. A wooden cottage built by us in the forest, with a fantastic view of the rolling hills. The house is located on our property, but offers complete privacy to enjoy the peace and nature.We built this nature house new in 2024, with attention to detail. Thus, there is a spacious living room with open ridge and an adjoining kitchen.There is a separate bedroom with a double bed (160-200), a sink and an en suite walk-in shower plus a separate toilet.The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need.There are games, reading material and information on what to do in the area.Also outside is a good place; there are several seats, (natural) shaded areas and a veranda with mood lighting. So both day and evening can be fully enjoyed being outside. Watching the sun set is special every day. Feel welcome and come experience it for yourself, we are happy to receive you! Included: linen, towels, WiFi.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the middle of nature. Darkness is therefore really dark, allowing you to enjoy a magnificent starry sky, as well as the call of the owls. This nature house is located in the Corrèze, bordering the Dordogne. The area is characterized by a lovely hilly landscape, apple orchards, forest, lakes and streams. Explore the area on foot, by bike or MTB, for the experienced cyclist admittedly! The various routes are well marked, including one that runs along the house. So you can start and finish from your cottage! Canoeing is possible in the Vezere, cooling off in the lake of Vigeois or a little further away in Rouffiac. Besides unspoiled nature, you will also find plenty of history and authentic villages. Definitely worth a visit are Uzerche, Ségur-le-Chateau and the Sunday market in Objat. At 5 minutes by car you can go to Pompadour for groceries, restaurants, etc. We are always available for questions / tips.
