The nature house is located on our small nature campsite near the town of La Roche-Canillac, in the middle of the green heart of the department 'la Corrèze' and is next to the swimming and fishing lake 'Etang de Laborde' (non-surveillé). The nature house is not connected to water and is without sanitary facilities. You will use the sanitary facilities of the campsite. Our Anaïs is equipped with two beds, a small kitchenette with stove, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, large jerry can for water, table and chairs both outside and inside. The village of La Roche-Canillac looks like a fairy tale. Built on a hill, surrounded by the meander of the Doustre River, the village consists of Roche-Haute on the edge of the plateau and Roche-Basse 50 meters below. A number of beautiful, narrow streets date back to the 9th century.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity there is nature and tranquility. The landscape is characterized by beautiful hills, large forests, numerous lakes and rivers. For peace seekers and nature lovers, this is an ideal environment. Here you can walk for hours through the forests without meeting anyone. From the campsite it is possible to make the most beautiful walks. At the reception we have several hiking and cycling routes available. The towns of Tulle and Argentat as well as the waterfalls of Murel and Gimel are well worth a visit and are only half an hour from the campsite. At a somewhat greater distance, a (small) hour's drive, are the sights; Brive-la-gaillarde, Collonges-la-Rouge, Tours de Merle, Uzerche, Gouffre la Fage and Gouffre de Padirac. Swimming, playing tennis, hiking, hiking, climbing, horseback riding, cycling, mountain biking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, supping and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature are among the possibilities.
