At this nature house you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you and enjoy everything the Achterhoek has to offer. So you are by bike in about 10 minutes in the center of Doetinchem where you will find several nice stores, cozy restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. Just outside the city is the beautiful estate Hagen with castle de Kelder, the Kruisberg Woods and Slangenburg Estate. There are several nice places to visit in the area, such as the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg. The famous Pieterpad, which winds through the Achterhoek, offers an unforgettable hiking experience. From the nature house there are numerous cycling routes, ideal for both the recreational and the more experienced cyclist. For mountain bikers, gravel riders and racing cyclists, the region also offers several challenging routes.
