Nature house in Elchweiler

The POD Dachsbau, together with the POD Fuchsbau, is located in the garden of the Alte Schule Elchweiler/Schmissberg. It is equipped with a bed (140 cm x 200 cm), two chairs, a table, a bench (incl. storage space) and an electric heater. Comforters and pillows are provided. Covers for blankets/pillows and towels can be brought along or booked. The camping kitchen (in the garage, 10 meters away), shower and toilet (lockable, in the main house) and the garden are shared. The camping kitchen has cooking facilities, microwave, refrigerator and other electrical appliances. Crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, coffee, tea and the usual spices are also available. The shower and WC are located in the old school (60 meters away) and each have a separate entrance accessible from the outside. They can be reached via a footpath which is illuminated at night. There is another vacation apartment in the main house.

You will find us in the middle of the nature experience villages, in the Hunsrück-Hochwald gemstone and national park region. Experience unique moments in the midst of beautiful nature. Hike on one of the many "dream loops", feel the wind while biking and be inspired by the energy of the surrounding landscape. Visit the storks in Schmißberg and take a look at the projects with which we try to actively support nature. The nature experience trail "In the land of kite, stork and co." starts right on site! Our cozy PODs offer you the ideal retreat to relax after an active day full of adventure. Enjoy the feeling of strolling through our gardens! Find your favorite spot, e.g. at the barbecue! Immerse yourself in the cozy warmth of our sauna and leave the stress of everyday life behind you. Our aim is for you to leave our accommodation with a smile on your face, knowing that you have spent a fulfilling vacation.
