Need to unwind in the Veluwe? This cozy wooden cottage has recently been completely renovated. Of all amenities including a comfortable (sleeping) couch in the living room making effectively 2 bedrooms, kitchen with Senseo, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is a heating by heat pump which makes it quickly warm inside and in the summer can also be used as air conditioning. The cottage is well insulated, and there is a secretaire cabinet to work on. There are chargers and USB cables to charge the phone and there is fast (500Mb) internet via WiFi and fiber optics. Upstairs is a comfortable 2 person bed on box spring basis with 2 mattresses plus a topper. This bed can also be separated into 2 separate beds. There is also a sofa bed that can be used as a single or double bed, possibly for children. There are books and a game box for possible entertainment, and outside there is a picnic table.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage stands on nearly 1000m2 of private land, fully fenced and with lots of privacy. Located in the middle of the Veluwe but easily accessible from the A50 which takes 15 minutes to Apeldoorn and 20 minutes to Arnhem. There are hiking trails within walking distance nearby where you can spend hours often completely alone and with a little luck deer, wild boar or even badgers can encounter. If you bring some nuts and leave them outside they will be gratefully eaten by squirrels, jays, woodpeckers or other birds. There are nesting boxes which are always used in the spring by coal or blue tits. Bicycling (possibly mountain biking) is also possible in the area. There are many bicycle routes and also through the woods are MTB trails constructed. If you like heathland that is also easy to find. From mid-August until the end of September it colors so characteristically beautiful purple.
