Unwind in the Veluwe in the middle of the woods? This cozy wooden cottage is fully equipped including a kitchen with Senseo, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. There is air conditioning heating so it is warm quickly and in the summer it can also cool. Upstairs is a bedroom with 1 double bed with electric blanket. Also a sofa bed that can be used as 1p or 2p bed. Comforters and pillows are provided, bed linen is optional. The stairs up can be a bit tricky if you have difficulty walking (see photos). The bathroom is modern with heating, washing machine and dehumidifier so it dries quickly. Bath towels can also be rented. A secretary can be worked on and there is high-speed internet via WiFi. For entertainment, there is a Google TV, some books and a game box. Outside is a picnic table, and a charging point for e-cars is available.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is on approximately 850m2 of private land, fully fenced and with lots of privacy in the backyard. Easily accessible from the A50 which brings you within 15 minutes to Apeldoorn and 20 min to Arnhem. Traffic can sometimes be heard. There are hiking trails within walking distance in the neighborhood where you can spend hours in silence and alone and with a little luck deer, wild boar or even badgers can encounter. If you take some nuts and leave them outside at the cottage then they will be gratefully eaten by squirrels, jays, woodpeckers or other birds. There are nesting boxes that are always used by tits in the spring. Some noise of wood mice can sometimes be heard inside.Cycling is good in the area. There are many bicycle routes and through the woods are MTB trails constructed. If you like heathland that is not far away either. In mid-August to late September it colors so beautifully purple. The national park De Hoge Veluwe is fifteen minutes by car.
