Feel Free................ Go Into The Peace Of Nature It is with great love that I share this atmospheric and beautifully decorated vacation home on the special Gold Lake. The chalet has everything you desire. You will feel like you are in paradise because of the atmosphere, tranquility and the amazing view. There is the possibility to rent two new electric bikes at the chalet to make your experience even more beautiful.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet at the Goudmeer is surrounded by the nature reserves Fochterloerveen and Drents Friese Wold.There is a path through the park to the nature reserve.Just a stone's throw away is also the village of Veenhuizen which in 2021 was named a Unesco World Heritage Site.In Veenhuizen there are beautiful historic buildings and of course the prison museum. In the vicinity are many cycling and walking routes that lead you past many beautiful places. The places Appelscha, Norg, Zuidlaren, Roden and Eelde are examples of this. Oosterwolde is a larger place, five km from the Goudmeer where you can store and do your groceries at the supermarkets. Other larger places are Assen, Drachten or Groningen. The area is well worth exploring.
