This spacious, attractively furnished Bell tent for 2 persons is located on a small charming campsite in Normandy. The Bell tent is placed on a wooden platform and offers an unobstructed view of the natural and quiet camping area (no permanent seasonal pitches such as chalets etc.). On the decking is an outdoor kitchenette (with 2 gas burners and small refrigerator), a picnic table, a wooden bench and a "fire pit": a small stove for stoking and barbecuing. All furniture is made of robust wood. In the tent there is one double bed (pallet bed with firm mattress). A 3rd person (baby or small child) is allowed by agreement. Other inventory: 2 chairs, 2 cabinets, bed linen, kitchen linen, dishes, glassware, cutlery, pans, cooking utensils and lighting. Bath towels must be provided by yourself. The campground has decent sanitary facilities and a washing machine. Simple entertainment for children (no animation). Bread and ice cream service and shared meals in a friendly atmosphere.

Camping Ferme Hay Day is located in the department of Calvados (Normandy), near the famous landing beach Omaha Beach. Hiking, swimming, water sports...everything is possible just steps away, on a wide and beautiful sandy beach. Directly from the campsite are cycling and hiking opportunities. The surroundings are idyllic, with beautiful rolling scenery and vistas. Within 3 km there is a landscaped bike path directly along the coast; on this it is safe to explore the impressive surroundings. Omaha Beach is historically interesting because of the D-Day liberation operation in WWII. But in addition, you will be surprised by nature, space and the typical French villages and port towns. The medieval town of Bayeux is worth visiting (20 minutes) as well as Le Mont-Saint-Michel (1.5 hours). The campsite hooks up to the large National Natural Park Les Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin which offers various recreational opportunities. Back at the campsite you will find peace, space and small scale.
