This modern chalet is located right on the edge of the forest next to 2 other vacation homes. From the living room you have a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding area, but in just 2 minutes you are on the forest paths and then in the idyllic Ruppertstal valley with its grazing cows, rare plants and rushing stream. Here you will find relaxation at any time of year. In summer, a balcony with garden furniture and a barbecue area invite you to linger, from where you can watch the bats at dusk. In winter, you can watch the dancing snowflakes from the spacious seating area, dream by the crackling fire and relax in the sauna after a lovely winter walk. You will find a cozy retreat on the gallery. The bathroom is another highlight with underfloor heating, a rock washbasin and a rain shower. You can expect "pure nature" directly in and around the house.

The vacation home is located on the edge of Zella-Mehlis directly on the hiking trail. From here you have a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. To relax after a strenuous hike, you have your own seating area with garden furniture and barbecue fireplace as well as a sauna. Zella-Mehlis is a state-approved health resort. The house is only 10 minutes away from the idyllic Ruppertstal in one of the most beautiful valley basins, embedded in the highest mountains of the Thuringian Forest south of the Rennsteig. The local mountain of Zella-Mehlis is called Ruppberg, is 866 m high and a popular excursion destination with a partly managed mountain hut. The Vesser nature reserve, the Rennsteig trail and meadows with a variety of orchids invite you to go hiking. Fire salamanders, deer and wild boar live in the immediate vicinity. Despite the location on the edge of the forest, local transport, restaurants and shopping facilities can be reached in 10 minutes.
