The spacious garden with terrace, located directly on the water, invites you to relax. Imagine reading a good book in the shade of the trees, while watching the boats sail by. Or barbecuing with friends on a warm summer evening. For the sports enthusiasts among us, there is the opportunity to swim, fish or supper. After a day of adventures, you can unwind in our comfortable house. The garden with terrace is the perfect place to end the day with a drink.
Nature and surroundings
Located on the beautiful Lauwersmeer, this unique location offers countless opportunities for nature lovers. Walk or bike along the waterfront, spot birds in the meadows or rent a boat and explore the area from the water. The National Park Lauwersmeer is within walking distance from the cottage. The National Park De Âlde Feanen is less than half an hour away. In addition, this cottage is less than 20 minutes by bike from the UNESCO Wadden Sea. Here you can make beautiful walks or bike rides along the Wadden Sea, walk across the mud flats or take a (sailing) boat to the Wadden Islands of Schiermonnikoog or Ameland. The area is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, people who are looking for ultimate peace and quiet (people from the Randstad sometimes have trouble falling asleep the first few days because they are so unaccustomed to the unique silence), hikers, cyclists and bird watchers.
