Relax in our vacation home and experience the silence and beauty of the ancient Frisian landscape between Tjonger and Linde. Discover the Drenthe Frisian Forest or explore the unique nature of the Diakonieveen or Focheloërveen. The accommodation is basic, but equipped with all the comforts needed for a comfortable stay, such as a double bed, sitting area, kitchen, shower and toilet and a terrace. For the colder months there is a wood stove with which you can pleasantly heat the room in no time. The detached accommodation is self-sufficient with its own entrance and terrace so you have complete privacy. Bed linen and towels are provided. If you want to come with more people, please let us know! On request a tent can be placed near the accommodation or we can set up extra sleeping places in the accommodation.

The nature house is located in the municipality of Ooststellingwerf, a hidden gem in the southeast of Friesland. With the unique combination of extensive nature, rich history and Frisian hospitality, this area is the ideal destination for nature lovers, peace seekers and adventurers. Walk or bike through the pristine beauty of the Drents- Friese Wold, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands, or discover the mystical Fochteloërveen, a rare peat bog where you can spot cranes. Be surprised by picturesque villages such as Appelscha, where culture and cosiness go hand in hand. Ooststellingwerf is also the ideal place to get away from it all. Enjoy the tranquility, taste the local flavors in cozy restaurants, or explore the region on a nostalgic horse and carriage ride. There are plenty of adventures for families, from exciting hiking trails to challenging climbing parks.
