Our vacation home in Coo is located on a southern slope from which one has a beautiful view of the Amblève valley. It is located on Le Vieux Sart, a small vacation park with 34 cottages, in the middle of the wooded area where relaxation, rest and enjoyment of nature are central. The house has very recently been thoroughly renovated and offers all the comforts to carefree enjoy what this exceptionally beautiful part of Belgium has to offer. The house can accommodate up to 5 people, making it ideal for couples, befriending couples and families up to 3 children. For the colder evenings and during winter days, the central wood stove in the living area provides cozy warmth that radiates throughout the room. Extra wood can be provided on request. Furthermore, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and you can let the chef in you come out with the extensive range of cooking utensils.
Nature and surroundings
Families with young children will enjoy Plopsa Coo, an amusement park within walking distance that offers a wonderful combination of nature and adventure for young and old. Also, the nearby Wildpark Coo is definitely worth a visit. For sports enthusiasts, there is a wide range of possibilities and from the moment you step outside the door, you can choose to take long walks through the Ardennes forest, or you can explore the area along different trail running courses. Furthermore, there are well-marked mountain bike trails that provide the necessary adrenaline or you can choose to conquer some famous Ardennes cols with your racing bike. Finally, there is also the possibility to explore the Amblève valley from the water by kayak or even from the air with a paraglider. Of course, after such a long active day, you will always be able to reward yourself with the view from the terrace and where you can chat with your family and/or friends.
