A beautiful, rural nature house with wellness. The accommodation is open to a maximum of 6 people of which a maximum of 4 adults. On the decking is the wood-fired hot tub, electric coal sauna and fire bowl, above which you can cook and grill. Seating has been created on and next to the decking where you can enjoy the outdoors with birds and bats flying overhead.In the ground floor accommodation is a private bathroom with toilet.Upstairs is the double high sleeper that overlooks the sunrise.From the high table you have km's of views over the country where you can spot deer and birds of prey with the binoculars on the table. Also here is a sofa made of sturdy single mattresses, which pulls out into a double bed. In the room next door is the play table and the children's bedstead containing two firm mattresses. Here the children can sleep while you are still enjoying the wellness.
Nature and surroundings
You are staying in UNESCO World Heritage Site "Wadden Sea". There are many cycling routes, opportunities for mudflat hiking and the National Park Lauwersmeer is 20 minutes away by car. You can walk here along the farmlands and on the sea dyke, where you can see the sunset, and you can also spot the lighthouses of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog. Anything else? The bus stop is around the corner. And 10 car minutes away is the historic town of Dokkum and 25 car minutes away is the Capital city of Leeuwarden. Did you know that you can see the Northern Lights here several times a year! This is because we are almost at the northernmost point of the Netherlands and there is little air pollution and streetlights here. And on a clear night, a sky with countless stars can be seen.
