The property includes the main house with an old hallway, the sauna house and a small thatched shed. From the 4 terraces you can look out over the green 5-hectare meadow to a natural forest. The main house offers plenty of space and comfort: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, social hallway, large living room with pool table and several rooms and seating areas to relax in. The stylish décor of modern interior & restored furniture emphasize the special flair of the property. Fully equipped kitchen, several televisions, SONOS music system & fast internet. Additional beds for 2-4 people are available in the sauna house on request.

The small village of Hoheleuchte belongs to the municipality of Römnitz in the Duchy of Lauenburg and is located on the eastern shore of Lake Ratzeburg. The "Green Belt" (former zonal border) begins here as a now unique natural paradise. From here you can start a variety of hiking and cycling tours to Mecklenburg or Lauenburg. In summer, the Ratzeburger See lake invites you to take a dip in the refreshing water at various bathing spots. Ratzeburg, Wismar, the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and the Baltic Sea coast offer many cultural and sightseeing attractions. The Schaalsee UNESCO biosphere reserve is a 310 km² protected area between the conurbations of Hamburg, Lübeck and Schwerin and is characterized by moors and lakes, fields, pastures and wet meadows as well as near-natural beech forests. The 24 km2 Schaalsee is the center of the UNESCO biosphere reserve and gives it its name. The inner-German border once ran through the lake.
