Welcome to our Nepalese-style masía with five guest rooms! Each room has its own atmosphere and features. We are happy to serve breakfast. For other meals we are happy to refer to restaurants nearby. We are off grid: we get water from our own well and we provide our own electricity. From the house you overlook our beautiful land (34ha) and the mountains of natural park Els Ports. Be tempted to walk on our land or take a hike in Els Ports or the surrounding area. Marvel at the silence of nature's sounds, the beauty of the stars and the diversity of plants, trees and animals. Enjoy a cup of fresh thyme or rosemary tea fresh from the land. Our estate has about 150 olive trees and 40 almond trees in addition to pine and deciduous trees. With a hundred meters difference in altitude on the land you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains of Els Ports and villages such as Cretas, Arnes and Horta San Joan.
Nature and surroundings
Our masía (farmhouse) is located in the region of Matarraña, a green and watery area with small rivers and a large lake. To the east lies Els Ports, a large natural park with surprisingly beautiful hiking and mtb trails. Matarraña and Els Ports are the hidden pearls of Spain. Here you will still find the silence, authentic villages and of course the robust nature. Near our masía also runs the Via Verde, a bicycle route of over 80 km on an old railroad line that leads you through Matarraña. The beautiful, medieval villages in the area deserve a visit, such as Cretas, Valderrobres or Beceite. Or head to the Parrizal Gorge for an insane hike, the hot spring in Prat del Comte, the Peña reservoir for water sports enthusiasts, or the El Salt waterfall. Fancy a day at the sea? With an hour's drive you are on the beach of l'Ampolla on the Mediterranean Sea. Of course we are happy to think with you for beautiful day trips and nice restaurants.
