This attractive complex in a picturesque location, consists of a 500-year-old water mill (group room), miller's house (12 people) and old bakery (5 people). Both houses are fully equipped and can be used jointly or separately. The miller's house has a professional kitchen with 2 countertops, a 90 cm. wide stove, dishwasher, pressure washer and warming cabinet. Furthermore, a large living room with loft, 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with separate toilets. Furthermore a double room with separate sleeping/sitting area and private bathroom. The small house has a living room with mezzanine, open dining room, open kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a walk-through room with a single bed and a second separate toilet. Furthermore, a second separate toilet. In the mill there is a group room and in the Grange there is a large workshop with additional sanitary facilities.
Nature and surroundings
Our rolling 14-acre property consists of forest, a valley with meandering streams, reservoir and waterfall. The complex is sunk into the green, a manor can be seen in the distance. Between the houses is a cozy yard with adjacent a large (fenced) pool, a playground, bowling alley, butterfly garden and pizza hut. The green hilly surroundings are ideally suited for hikers and cyclists (who does not know our local legend Raimond Poulidor). A mountain bike trail borders our property and fishing is available in our own lake (boat available). Golfers will find several courses 20 km away and the medieval town of Saint Léonard de Noblat, 4 km away, is officially one of "the most beautiful towns in France". At 20 km is the university city of Limoges, with an old center. Nearby are numerous museums, the Lac de Vassivière and the ruined town of Oradour.
