Welcome to our lovingly restored Nature house at the end of the world ;-) It is part of a farm complex with a larger farmhouse, its own chapel (all buildings are listed) and a very large garden. Situated on a hill and surrounded by meadows and pastures (with Galloways cattle of the neighboring farmer), there are wonderful views of the wide landscape of the southern Eifel. The cottage has a living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and has a large, open-plan attic room. The ground floor living area has a revolving wood-burning stove, armchairs and a sofa with music system. One patio door to the west and one to the east with a terrace and private garden, for breakfast in the sun or as a shady spot in the hot summer. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. Upstairs in the rustic attic there is a wide beamed bed, a sofa corner with TV and plenty of space for yoga, meditation or similar.
Nature and surroundings
Our Nature house is beautifully situated on a hill. Three very old oak trees protect the property. It is very quiet and there is a fantastic starry sky on a clear day (the lantern goes out at 11 pm) because there is exceptionally little light pollution in this region. At the end of the property there is a very nice seating area for sunsets. The first hiking trail begins when you step out of the cottage ;-) and there are many very beautiful paths and trails in the immediate vicinity (hiking map 50m from the house). There is also an on-call bus stop. The cottage is very remote, the nearest shops and restaurants are in the beautifully situated towns of Waxweiler or Neuerburg (approx. 10 km each). Further excursions e.g. Vianden (in Luxembourg, approx. 30 km) or the Devil's Gorge (approx. 35 km) or ... If you are traveling with children or wheelchair users, please contact us before booking to avoid misunderstandings.
