In our old farmhouse in the Southern Vosges, we invite you to relax in the midst of magical nature - to eat well, sleep well and have a good time. There is no through traffic here. Forests and meadows, rocks and water - our estate (with natural bathing lake) and its surroundings reflect the original and intensely experienceable landscape of the Vosges. Here you are very close to nature - and to yourself. The historic customs house consists of a single room and has a beautiful private sun terrace with a view of the pond. The accompanying comfortable bathroom, heated and with a window, is located about 20 steps away in the main house. It is easily accessible via a few lighted stone steps. Next to our historic gate room is a beautiful, fully equipped small kitchen, which can be shared with the guests of the other accommodations. We also offer breakfast and evening meals on request.
Nature and surroundings
The terrace and the bathroom are exclusively for the guests of this accommodation. The guest kitchen and the large historic fireplace are available for shared use. In addition, our guests are invited to use the entire 15,000 square meter estate and linger in the various seating areas by the lake, on the meadow, by the large rock or in the forest. Our Ferme is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The Col de Mont de Fourche and the Col des Croix are the closest, a little further away you will find the other Ballons and Cols d'Alsace. For the "quieter" cyclists, there are several Voies Vertes, which are cycle paths on flat routes, for example along the Moselle. On Sundays in summer, brocante and flea markets are often held in the surrounding villages. In Girmont Val d'Ajol, there is a wonderful night market every Friday in July and August, with regional delicacies and performances.
