Mökki lomaaurinko - Holiday cottage on Lake Saimaa with private beach, sauna and jacuzzi Enjoy the unique combination of stunning nature and the comfortably furnished Mökki (vacation cottage) on the island of Salosaari on Lake Saimaa / Ruokolahti. The Mökki with a large terrace and garden furniture is approx. 10 m from the pier/beach and is ideal for one to four people. Water temperatures in summer of 21 - 24 degrees and crystal clear invite you to swim. Or you can take the rowing boat (included) out onto the lake for fishing, for example. The wood-burning sauna is available all year round and the Jacuzzi is available for relaxing in summer. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with ecological cleaning products as well as skin-friendly soaps/shampoos and bathrobes to make you feel good. There is also a cozy barbecue hut and a tree tent for special moments in nature. Just relax and unwind. With a bit of luck, you might see the Northern Lights in the winter evening sky.

You'll find plenty of nature and peace and quiet on our estate, but if you want, you can drive to the town of Imatra with all its stores, restaurants and sights in 20 minutes. You want to travel by train - no problem - we will pick you up from the train station in Imatra. The nearest supermarket and everything you need for everyday life is about 6 km away in our beautiful municipality of Ruokolahti. Salosaari is connected to the mainland by two bridges. The area around Ruokolahti is famous for its cycling routes and - on the lake - for canoeing and kayaking. There are also many beautiful hiking trails, for example Hukkavuori (Wolf Hill) and Haukkavuori (Hawk Hill) with magnificent views. E-bikes, canoes and SUPs can be rented, and in winter: Cross-country skiing through snow-covered forests or on groomed trails? Snow hiking on the frozen Saimaa and cooling off in the snow after a sauna.
