Welcome to our lovely cottage! Would you like to get away and enjoy the beautiful nature and surroundings that the Sauerland has to offer, be welcome in our spacious and well equipped house. The house has 3 bedrooms so you can stay here with 6 people fine. A spacious living room with a closed wood stove provides a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The house also has a 6-person dining area and kitchen with all amenities. Outside, the house has a beautiful spacious terrace and spacious garden around and faces south so you can enjoy the sun all day. In short, for both long and short stays a wonderful base to unwind! Feriendorf Frankenau is located next to the nature reserve Kellerwald, you walk from the house into the forest. A 20-30 minute drive brings you to Lake Edersee, a vast lake with many hiking and biking trails. Moreover, around the Edersee are nice villages, a castle and boating opportunities. Also here are for the children a toboggan run (with playground etc.) and a wildlife park (zoo) At 45 minutes drive are the ski resorts of Willingen and Winterberg, also in the summer beautiful areas to drive to. There are also nice towns in the area worth visiting: Korbach, Frankenberg, Bad Wildungen and Marburg. The area also has many outdoor swimming pools.
