Feel welcome in this brand new (2024) sustainable, wooden cottage, hidden in the beautiful and vast forests near Baarn. Inside (ca 46m2) is warm and cozy, with a nice couch, a large table to eat at, read the newspaper or work at home overlooking the large forest garden (over 1000m2). Adjacent to the bedroom you will find the bathroom with (rain) shower, washbasin and toilet. Outside many birds, squirrels and with a little luck, a deer or a fox in the distance. Books, games, children's toys and of course a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, bread maker, oven, fridge without freezer, complete cooking and baking utensils). The house has underfloor heating. On the outdoor terrace is the wood stove, a dining table and deck chairs. Crib and high chair available. Your bed(140) is made and your vacation can begin immediately!
Nature and surroundings
You are completely in nature here! If you want to go out, walk from the garden directly into the forest. You will constantly discover new paths, forest and heath, short and long walks in the historic Baarnse Bos. Here you can cycle endlessly and mountain-bike (exciting course!). Discover Castle Groeneveld and the farm store, walk to 'the Pit' for a terrace or to one of the many restaurants nearby. Visit Soestdijk Palace, go shopping in 'Vorstelijk' Baarn (market on Tuesdays), where all kinds of cultural activities are also organized or have a cup of coffee in the well-known, atmospheric 'De Generaal', near Baarn train station (4 km). From here a day in Amsterdam, Naarden, Hilversum or Utrecht is also easy to do! Nearby is a climbing forest, the Amersfoort Zoo and the beautiful Soesterduinen. And when the weather is nice, you can swim in the outdoor pool 'de Parel' with tennis court and sun terrace.
