Welcome La petite Maison built in 1751 where modern comfort and French charm come together. Centrally located in a beautiful mountain environment we offer Bart and Dámi this carefully decorated cottage. The cottage is equipped with all the comforts you need for a relaxing or active vacation in France. From the cottage you step right into nature to discover the French Alps. Start your day with a hike through the mountains, explore the area on your mountain bike or discover one of the three nearby ski resorts. Nature and surroundings
The house is at about 700m altitude on the river Giffre at the edge of the woods.The mountain behind the house is the 'Mont Orchez' 1347m high where there are several hiking and mountain biking trails.On the other side of the river is the Marcelly 2004m,this is the highest point of the ski area Praz de Lys.From the living room you look towards the mazot (Savoryard barn) to the Marcelly.Also the famous ski areas: Portes du Soleil and Grand Massif are within 20 min by car.Mieussy is a village known for paragliding, World-cup competitions are held here. But of course also for skiing, the Canyon at pont du Diable and the cave of Jourdy. All just a stone's throw from the Swiss border, it is a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure. With the Giffre River as the natural border of our property and a private water source to quench your thirst, we offer you a unique experience in the French Alps.
