IN the heart of the rolling French countryside, hidden among ancient oaks and green hills, lies an old farmhouse in a tiny village, where silence is not an emptiness, but an embrace. Every morning, the sky turns a soft pink over the misty hills, while the first rays of the sun caress the gîte's facade. The house, with its robust stone walls and shutters, exudes a serenity. Visitors arriving here immediately feel the burden of the world slipping away from them. A short distance away in the middle of nature lies the Bonnefont, a source to which we owe our street name. In our cozy cottage with its own kitchen, bathroom and separate living room, everyone can enjoy a vacation to remember. Two or three times a week you can join our tables d'hôtes, sitting on our cool terrace under the chestnut trees.
Nature and surroundings
Birds, butterflies, flowers and plants feel very comfortable with us because of the silence and tranquility. You will therefore be amazed at the amount of beautifully colored butterflies that almost come to sit on your hand. Long-eared owls, tawny owls that become active at night, even the gray peacock passes by every now and then. Come and enjoy the beautiful view that Maison du Silence has to offer.From our house two walks start which can be found on google.Further away is the town of St. Maurice-près-Pionsat, where there is a small supermarket with often local products. In the vicinity you can swim, canoe in the river Sioule, there is also a castle ruin overlooking this beautiful river. In Pionsat and Auzances are the famous supermarkets, where one can buy everything needed.
