Nature house in Bräcke

The Moose Lodge is a spacious and comfortable vacation home in the middle of the unspoiled nature of Jämtland, Sweden. Located in the quiet village of Öratjärndalen with only ten houses, 400 meters from a small lake. We operate the lodge, and built it in authentic Scandinavian style with local tree trunks. The lodge has a spacious living area with sitting area, wood stove, TV and dining table. The open kitchen is fully equipped with cooking island, oven, dishwasher, freezer and coffee maker. There are 4 bedrooms, one on the first floor and three upstairs, each of which has 2 x single beds of 90 by 200 cm with the possibility of making up as a double bed. Upon arrival there are freshly made beds waiting for you. The lodge has 2 spacious bathrooms with shower and double sink. Furthermore: floor heating, spacious entrance hall, 2 separate toilets, garden with terrace, sauna & hot tub (supplement), fireplace and wifi. Pets are negotiable.

In every season there are endless hiking opportunities through the vast forests. We are happy to help you get started with self-marked trails. There are numerous rivers and lakes nearby for fishing. There are 2 canoes available each time for a trip on a nearby river (supplement). Enjoy a wellness moment with sauna or hot tub on request. A dog sled ride is a unique winter experience. Our local partner will introduce you to the dogs and accompany you on an unforgettable trip through the snowy landscape. With a snowmobile you will explore the forests and frozen lakes, you might even spot reindeer! Our experienced guide will take you to hidden places. By reservation only (December-March) The lodge is located 15 minutes from Bräcke, a village where you will find a supermarket for your daily groceries. There are also some basic amenities such as a pharmacy, a train station and a small eatery.
