Come spend the night on a historic sailing houseboat. The skipper moors this 109-year-old lady on the beautiful river Eem. It is a beautiful ship with an authentic warm appearance. You can sit in the sun on the wooden back deck or make a lounge spot on the bow. In the cozy living room you have a view of the Eem and the primeval Dutch landscape through the salon windows. The ship is equipped with various conveniences such as an espresso machine, oven, refrigerator, kettle and TV.
Nature and surroundings
The houseboat is in a beautiful spot on the river Eem, off the mooring for pleasure boats near the Malebrug in Amersfoort. The Eem meanders through a meadow landscape and you can quietly spot birds of prey, pheasants, hares and sheep. And when the weather is nice, jump overboard into the Eem for a refreshing swim. The Eem is ideally suited for fishing, both from board and at the quay. A wooden shoe path starts on the shore and with the included bicycles you can get to Amersfoort, Soest, Baarn and Hoogland over the dike in no time.
