An attractive wooden lodge in the green: Stay in a modern but authentically decorated lodge with a vast garden and a beautiful view of our orchard. This lodge is a complete vacation home for a family of 2 to 4 people and combines character with an ideal location on the idyllic and oh-so-quiet Leopold canal. Open-plan living with view: In this comfortable lodge your family can spend the night in peace and quiet. The heart of this cottage is the open-plan living area with sitting area and kitchenette, and a view of nature wherever you look! The Lodge has 1 bedroom on the mezzanine, a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The Lodge: an authentic overnight stay in the heart of nature This cozy wooden lodge is the ideal base for exploring the region. Combine a day of hiking or cycling with a visit to one of the many eateries in the region, or go for a fun tour with a scooter from Brommeleute.
Nature and surroundings
Our property is close to the historic Graaf Jansdijk and the Zonnebrug, which bridges the Leopold Canal. Both the Manor House and The Lodge are in the midst of nature, surrounded by fields, creeks and polders. It's the perfect setting to just unwind, but of course you can also actively relax in the surrounding area. The Zonnebrug is located in Sint-Jan-in-Eremo, one of the five boroughs of Sint-Laureins. You are in the heart of the peaceful Meetjesland and Zwin region. The coast, Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and Zeeland are also nearby. Here you can enjoy endless silence and the beauty of nature. Nearby are many cycling and walking routes. For example, our accommodation is the only one in the region on the GR5 trail! Or follow the signposted Sentse Vijfdorpenroute, which takes you along the 5 districts of Sint-Laureins. Sint-Laureins is a good base for a relaxing bike ride to Damme, Knokke, Sluis, Breskens but also for a city trip to Ghent or Bruges.
