Reindeer, squirrels, salamanders and numerous birds will welcome you in this luxurious farmhouse that includes a sitting room with a wood stove and the garden room with French doors opening to the oasis of peace in the garden. A fine space to find inspiration for art, meditation or yoga. The country kitchen provides you with all conveniences. Refresh yourself in the spacious bathroom. In the bedroom, where the original trusses are still visible, you will find a nice double bed. We hope to offer you more than a weekend or week away, but an experience for a long time and a place where you can relax.
Nature and surroundings
Bellingwolde: a village with a centuries-old history that can still be seen and felt in everything around you. The streets with baked cobblestones, the church with its stained glass windows and beautiful tall trees that sometimes seem to disappear into the greenery. The cottage is located within walking distance of the Lethe. At 10 car minutes away is nature reserve Veendiepplassen and the Welness of Bad Nieuweschans. At 20 minutes by car Termunten with its sea lock and seal viewing wall in Punt van Reide where a breeding area is located where regularly spoonbills can be found. Winschoten provides you with all the conveniences of a big city. Westerwolde is a beautiful area with lots of nature and history such as the monastery in Ter Apel, the forests of Sellingen, historic Bourtange and many hiking and cycling routes. At a slightly larger distance you will find 't Nije hemelriekje and the state forests of Drenthe with dolmens and beautiful nature.
