Hidden in the green of our yard, surrounded by meadows, is our lovely Pipowagen. A cozy and nice place to relax and enjoy the greenery and birds (titmice, woodpeckers, harriers, herons, all kinds of meadow birds and with a little luck the owl will visit) and when dusk falls, the bats fly through the garden. In any season it is great to stay there thanks to the sun and shade, veranda, wood stove and underfloor heating. In the car itself there is a simple kitchenette, a small but comfortable bedroom with French doors and a small terrace in front of it. Of course there is a nice sitting area, a small dining table and an eco sawdust toilet. The shower is in a separate building right next to the wagon. As this shower is connected to our septic tank, we provide shower gel and shampoo suitable for this purpose.
Nature and surroundings
A unique location on our yard at the edge of the cozy Schagen and surrounded by meadows. In the mobile homes you imagine yourself in the woods and if you walk away from the yard, you are between the meadows and look at the picturesque village Haringhuizen. In the surroundings you can enjoy hiking and cycling. The West Frisian Circular Dyke is a must and of course the beautiful nature reserve the Zwanenwater in Callantsoog. Forest, dunes and beach are fifteen minutes away by car. But also the beautiful and eccentric artist village of Bergen and Schoorl (with the highest dunes in the Netherlands) are within half an hour by car. A day trip to Texel is also very fun and good to do. In the town of Schagen, which is a five-minute bike ride away, there are numerous restaurants, terraces and stores. In our yard is also the clay studio of SanBak, where various workshops (modeling, bronze casting) are organized.
