Centrally located in the Achterhoek, in the outskirts of Zelhem, the cottage is located in the middle of the meadows. From here your vacation can begin in the beautiful scenic landscape of hamlet Wolfersveen. The accommodation is fully equipped and is suitable for 2 + 2 persons. The layout: covered terrace, living room, kitchen, toilet and bedroom with bathroom en suite. Especially the freedom in combination with the village nearby, a restaurant and public transport within walking distance (500 m), makes it an ideal base to discover the Achterhoek. Think Doesburg, smallest town Bronkhorst or Zutphen or make beautiful bike and MTB tours. Boarding directly in front of the door.
Nature and surroundings
Wolfersveen is the green heart of the Achterhoek. Within a radius of 30 min you can reach many activities, attractions and nature reserves. Across the road is a garden-forest the Baaksekamp. Within walking distance the Hengelse Zand of over 300ha of forest, heath and sand drifts. The Vragender-Veen should certainly not be missed as well as Zwillbrocker Venn with the northernmost breeding ground of pink flamingo colony. Mountains we do not really know but the Montferland and Elterberg is worth a climb. On less beautiful days the choice of museums and indoor activities is great. In the immediate vicinity, Museum More in Ruurlo, the Steel Museum in Laren, Lalique in Doesburg, Holy Statues in Kranenburg are worth recommending. Visit the Aquadomum (life in and with nature) a hidden gem of Zelhem. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet and be surprised in the morning and evening by the deer, hares and birds that roam freely in nature here.
