Häradssätter Gård – A tranquil farm stay near the coast Welcome to Häradssätter Gård – a small, family-run farm just ten minutes from the coast in Valdemarsvik, southern Sweden. We offer modern, fully equipped cottages in a peaceful and scenic countryside setting. We have two identical modern cottages (this is the upper one) located a bit secluded on the farm, within walking distance of the farm’s main buildings. On the bottom floor there is a spacious bathroom, a large fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a living room with sofas and TV. From the living room, you can reach the furnished outside deck with barbecue facilities and scenic views. Upstairs there are three bedrooms that sleep 6 people in total. The cottage is fully self-contained and you are free to use anything in the house. There is free Wi-fi, TV with Chromecast and air conditioning. In July and August theaccomodation is rented out weekly from Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year you can book freely

The farm is peacefully secluded, nestled by a lake and surrounded by forest. The cottage itself sits on a gentle slope, overlooking woodland teeming with wildlife and open fields where horses and goats graze. Chickens, turkeys, peacocks, cats, and two friendly dogs roam freely around the farm, adding to its charm. Just a short walk away is our quiet lake — perfect for a refreshing swim or a peaceful outing with the rowing boat or canoe. The fishing is excellent, too! The surrounding woods are rich in wildlife, crisscrossed by trails, and offer great opportunities for foraging berries in summer and mushrooms in fall. You can walk for hours in the woods without meeting anybody. Häradssätter is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful regions of Östergötland and Småland.
