This nature house is a detached vacation home ( built in 1956 by my grandfather), and located on the edge of the National Park Dwingelderveld with 4000 hectares of forest, heath and shifting sand. The cottage is over 2 kilometers from Dwingeloo: the greenest village in the Netherlands and Europe. Ideal for cyclists, hikers, peace seekers and families with children. The nature house is suitable for six people and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Furthermore, the cottage has a spacious living room with a sunny conservatory and with a beautiful view over the countryside. You will also find a well-stocked bookcase, games, puzzles, music and DVD;s. There are six bicycles that you can use for making super nice bike rides on the heath and through the Dwingelderveld.... Weekends and midweeks are possible on request. By "Vroege Vogels" is the Dwingelderveld named as the quietest area of the province of Drenthe. with all kinds of beautiful sounds of nature.

The nature house is located on the edge of the National Park Dwingelderveld (4000 hectares). Superb, because you will find gently rolling moors with pools and fens, forest and shifting sand. In the surrounding picturesque villages such as Ruinen and Dwingeloo, the cultural history of a century ago is still tangibly present. Drenthe is the cycling province. You will find numerous marked cycling and hiking routes that will take you to the most beautiful places in this area. On your journey of discovery through the province you will be introduced to stories and history (including camp Westerbork, the megalithic tombs, cultural heritage, the peat bogs) and you will also discover the authentic villages of Drenthe, with their often beautiful village greens. And Dwingeloo has the most beautiful village square in Drenthe. Opposite the cottage is a beautiful playground with a table tennis table, swings, a sandbox, a cableway, a soccer field and all kinds of bicycles and play cars : so also very suitable for a vacation with children.
