Nature house in Ansen

This is a very special ruralhut! This so-called 'plaggenhut' is inherent to Drenthe. You can experience the atmosphere of the past, but with the comfort of the present The house has a cozy living room with a comfortable seating area. The kitchen with granite countertops has a gas cooker, fridge, sink and coffee maker. The house has one double bedstead and two single bedsteads. There is also a bathroom with toilet, shower and a sink. During the cold winter days the house is heated by the wood burning stove and underfloor heating.

The ruralhut is directly adjacent to the Dwingelderveld National Park. That means that there is 3800 hectares of backyard! Go horseback riding or walking without even seeing one car. Enjoy the Dwingeloose heath, stroll through the forest and peer over the Davids lakes from the bird-watching hut. It's all possible in this area. The village of Ansen is located between the well-known villages of Ruinen and Dwingeloo.
