This nature house is located in the beautiful Dutch nature reserve the Reest valley, in the yard of an art center. The cottage has a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. In the living room there is a wood stove and television. Attached you will find a brand new kitchen, equipped with an induction stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. The cottage has a room with a large bed for 2 persons and a bedroom with a single bed. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa, which can also be used as a double bed. The bathroom has a shower and a sink. The shower is equipped with handles. Recent: There is a charging station available for electric cars.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the nature reserve Takkenhoogte of Het Drentse Landschap. It is quiet, the nights are dark and the stars are bright. The neighbors are deer and Scottish highlanders. In a grove on the edge of the property is a bird-watching cabin. This hut places you in the nature reserve. Nico de Haan went before you. He writes: ''You look out on the nature development area the Takkenhoogte. Beautiful heathlands, interspersed with fens. If you're not being stared at by the Scottish highlanders, you're being peered at by the robin sparrows. Ravens talk in the distance and in spring the golden oriole yodels here. Most of the time it is very quiet and you imagine yourself alone, together with the birds. A weekend or a week, it flies by here in the middle of nature. I can heartily recommend it!'' From the cottage are walking and cycling through the nature reserve. In this area flows the Reest, a winding stream, which forms the border between Overijssel and Drenthe.
