A generous nature house on a 1400 m² forest plot. The lush forest garden is home to squirrels and many birds. The comfortable home has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate seven to a maximum of eight people (eighth berth is a mattress on the floor). On the ground floor you will find the living room with wood stove. A dining room has a table with corner sofa, three chairs, plus two high chairs closet with toys, games and books. The open kitchen has a combi-oven/microwave, induction hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and filter coffee machine. and toilet and a bedroom with adjacent bathroom with bath, separate shower and sink. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Washing machine in separate room. (bring your own bed and kitchen linen, comforters available) Garden furniture: picnic table, bench and garden chairs. For the children there are two swings The park aims to be fireworks free! no fireworks please.
Nature and surroundings
Located in National Park Drents-Friese Wold: heathlands, forests and sand drifts. A three-minute walk from the Doldersummerveld (butterfly reserve) and the Huenderhoeve sheepfold (Doldersum). A short walk on (half) paved path offers you a taste of the surroundings. With boots you can extend the round trip by walking along the meandering Vledder Aa. At the sheepfold, a 7.5-kilometer walk through heathlands and forests also begins. The watchtower offers a view of the Doldersummerveld. To the east you cycle through the woods and along the Wapserveld (heathland) to the village of Diever with stores and terraces. To the west you cycle through small-scale agricultural areas to Vledder with a supermarket, museums, terraces and a heated outdoor swimming pool. The northern route to Vledder goes through the forest with small moors. Five kilometers away towards Appelscha (north) is a natural lake for swimming, the Aekingermeer. With a small detour you cycle back via the sand drifts of the Aekingerzand. A little further south is the Havelterberg.
