Nature house in Koekange

These nature houses are located next to each other, both have a large private garden. These gardens are separated by a large sheep fence which can easily be opened if you want to be together. Both have a large porch an outdoor fireplace. In the garden is a wood-fired hot tub for 4-6 people, at extra cost you can enjoy the starry sky or the beautiful greenery around you during the day. In both gardens are all kinds of playground equipment, from swings to trampoline, climbing frame and sandbox. They are child- and senior-friendly, ground-level bungalows. You can use our bikes for free at these nature houses. Both gardens are completely wire fenced. Parking on private property. The cottages can also be booked separately (on this site under house code 23896 and 28024).

The nature house is located in Koekange, on the edge of the vast Dwingelderveld nature reserve in Drenthe, 150 kilometers from Amsterdam. Between Meppel and Hoogeveen, near Giethoorn and against Ruinen. The 3,700-hectare nature reserve is under the management of Natuurmonumenten. The very varied landscape consists of beautiful forests with fens and moors. The Drents Friese Wold nature reserve is also just a stone's throw away. Or how about a visit to the zoo or the city of Emmen. Or visit one of the many quaint villages like Bourtange, Ansen, Dwingeloo, Exloo or Orvelte. The cottage is the ideal base for many different cycling and walking routes. The four-day evening walk in Drenthe is also a real attraction for this province. VVV the Wolden is very active, there is both in spring and summer and autumn enough to do, including nature monuments.
