The nature house is located between the Drenthe villages of Gieten and Gasselte on a quiet, quiet dirt road. The rural surroundings consist of fields interspersed with forest. Peace, space, nature, freedom and silence are the keywords. The nature house is equipped for a stay with up to four people. The nature house has two bedrooms (four beds). There are also a living room, a kitchen, a conservatory, a bathroom with shower and large bathtub and a spacious covered terrace. The house is centrally heated (partly with underfloor heating), with an additional cozy fireplace. The house is equipped with wireless internet (WiFi). There is a digital receiver with reception of the Dutch public and commercial channels and a choice of foreign channels. In the spacious basement is a wonderful double infrared sauna. Also located here are the washer and dryer.
Nature and surroundings
The city of Groningen with its famous Martinitoren is 25 kilometers by car from this nature house; Emmen with its very beautiful Noorderdierenpark is only 30 kilometers from the house and Assen - the provincial capital - is 15 kilometers away. In short: the nature house is a great base for trips, but at the same time ideal for those seeking peace and nature. Of the 54 known dolmens, 52 are located in Drenthe. 40 of these are located on the Hondsrug. In the vicinity of the nature house there are about 10, including in Eext, Loon, Rolde, Annen and Anloo. A historical experience is the esdorp of Orvelte, which has not changed since the 1960s and has been restored to the situation of 1830 from then on. A visit to the memory center Kamp Westerbork is within the borders of Drenthe and can be easily reached by bicycle.
