Nature house in Vledderveen

The nature house is beautifully located on a one-acre property, free at the back of the barn with its own private private garden and terrace, overlooking the large garden and surrounded by fields. The furnishing is as much as possible with natural materials. The water is purified through a gaia aqua filter. The landlords manage the property with some friends. There is also an accommodation for rest, meditation, retreats etc. There is a washing machine and extra oven there that can be used. There are 2 fire pits and several spots and gardens, butterfly and bee friendly, lawn, young orchard, with mowed paths and a pond. Playhouse, swing and sandbox. Unless in use for something else, you may enjoy this freely. There are two good bikes (without battery) available that you may use for a small fee by arrangement. Electric bikes can be charged in the shed. There is WiFi and TV. NOTE: the living room is also the 2nd bedroom.

The cottage is located in beautiful surroundings: alternating meadows, fields, forest, heath and fens. It lies against the Drents-Friese Wold. You can make beautiful walks and cycling. It is often really quiet here, there is little light pollution and in the twilight you regularly encounter a deer. Further away you will find beautiful areas such as the Fochteloërveen, the Linde, the Tjonger, the basin of the Drentse Aa, the Reest valley and the Weerribben. Boschoord was once intended to be the last Colony of the Society of Weldadigheid. The Braiding Museum in Noordwolde and the Colony Museum in Frederiksoord are good sources of information about the history of the area. Many characteristic colony houses can still be seen in the area. The Society's area is now a World Heritage Site. Other museums: Vledder (Glass Museum), Diever (Shakespeare Theater), between Vledder and Frederiksoord sea museum Miramar. Nearest places with all amenities: Noordwolde and Vledder.
