This nature house is a wheelchair adapted nature house and is suitable for families as well as the elderly. With in the bathroom a folding shower stretcher, possibility of support at the toilet and adapted beds makes the house habitable for everyone, with or without disabilities. The nature house is located on a cul-de-sac, in a quiet area and is suitable for five, maximum six people. The cottage is luxuriously furnished and is very well equipped. Through the sliding doors you can involve the outside with the inside. There is a large terrace with table and chairs and deck chair adjacent to a playground. The landlords work with a home care organization for any nursing assistance and additional resources.

The nature house is close to beautiful natural areas such as the Dwingelerveld, Drents-Friese Wold or the Doldersumse veld but also wetlands such as Weerribben and Giethoorn. For the cycling enthusiast, Drenthe has many beautiful routes that wind through nature reserves and give the ultimate feeling of outdoor life. Even covered wagon rides are made possible nearby by a number of rental companies. But there are also numerous beautiful fens to explore on foot. For the bad-weather moments, several places of interest can be found in Diever, Vledder, Frederiksoord or Noordwolde. The immediate area has been nominated for inclusion on the World Heritage List in 2018 because of its important cultural-historical value.
