This four-person nature house is a cozy and cozy cottage in a wooded location. It is very quietly located on the Drenthe Hondsrug, on the outskirts of the village of Gasselte. The cottage offers plenty of peace and space and has a living room with open kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds (bunk beds). The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside is a covered porch and a lovely terrace. The complete furnishing of the cottage makes you feel right at home. Bicycles can be stored in the shed, where you can also sit nicely covered. Bicycles can be rented on site. In the immediate vicinity are other bikes for rent. This nature house is non-smoking. Since the end of 2018 there is also a wood stove in the cottage.
Nature and surroundings
The village of Gasselte is located in the heart of Drenthe, near the state forests (Gieten/Borger) with many hiking and cycling routes. An ideal place for walkers and cyclists. The nature house is located on several cycling and hiking routes, including the "Drenthe path", and on the old railroad Assen-Stadskanaal. There are also many attractions in the area, including Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, the Hunebedcentrum in Borger and Drouwenerzand Amusement Park. Nature swimming lakes "Het Nije Hemelriek" and "Gasselterveld," located in the State Forests, are three kilometers away. The village of Gieten is also three kilometers away and has many amenities and stores. Assen and Groningen are less than a half-hour drive away.
