But it is also very suitable for socializing. Fifteen years ago it was built as a spacious family house for vacations and weekends. The Scandinavian timber construction makes it cozy and the interior is warm and contemporary . On the ground floor is a double bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, a large bathroom and a separate sauna. Next to the house are some small vacation homes (no park) of people who are very fond of their peace and quiet. This nature house is located in the Drenthe countryside, in a still fairly unknown region. Here the villages are not focused on tourism, a place where (farm) life simply goes its course. Horse whinnying and rooster crowing are the sounds you can hear when sitting on the porch. From the house and the front garden you can occasionally see cows or sheep. From the house you can take beautiful walks directly. For example, along a fens to the Mantingerveld, an area with heathland, juniper forest and sand drifts. It is also very suitable for bicycle tours (4 bicycles are at your disposal). The Erica cycle route runs past the house and in front of the house is a bridle path. Two kilometers away is golf course ''Martensplek''. Nearby are characteristic Drenthe villages such as Orvelte, Gees, Mantinge and Westerbork.
