This nature house in the form of an old-fashioned Plaggenhut, nostalgia with the comforts of today. At the edge of our beautiful garden are five romantic cottages. For adults back to the old days with sleeping in the bed box, the tree stump as a table and the cozy warmth of the wood stove. For children the cottage is fairy-tale like Hansel and Gretel's house. In the morning you are awakened by the rustling of the wind through the trees and the singing of the birds. Enjoying the silence and the music of the rustling leaves. Slowly waking up for another wonderful vacation day. The cottage is fully equipped, well insulated and has an old-fashioned wood stove. You can stay there in the spring, fall and summer. The wood stove is for coziness and extra warmth.
Nature and surroundings
There are five plaggenhutten, vjf koloniehuisjes (log cabins) and one stone nature house at the vacation park. Under the woodshed and around the fire pit you can socialize and tell stories or make music. Vacation on this property in the forests of Friesland near the National Park Drents-Friese wold you have a place for yourself to unwind. The beautiful nature houses and the comfortable summer house ensure an unforgettable stay. Not only because of the idyllic garden in which the cottages are located, but also because of the hours of cycling and walking you can do through the Drents-Friese Wold, the Fochteloërveen or through the Weerribben. Nature and culture go hand in hand here. A place to feel at home and welcome, as a family, in a group with a family reunion or just to retreat. A common question is whether we have wifi. They only have that to a limited extent. Why limited? Because they want to encourage real meetings. Between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., wifi is free to use in the reception area.
