Near the Hunebed Highway is this cozy, country-style nature house. This compact cottage offers the comfort of fine beds, a hot shower and underfloor heating. A charging point for electric cars (7kw) is available. The cottage is also accessible by public transport. The kitchen equipment is complete with refrigerator, four-burner stove and bean coffee maker. The garden with covered terrace is a nice place to relax in all weathers. The veranda has a wood stove and there is a fire pit in the garden. The chickens and sheep complete the rural picture. In consultation, dog or cat can come along.
Nature and surroundings
At this nature house you will experience Drenthe at its best. Here on the Hondsrug, near the Drouwenerzand nature reserve and forest reserves, it is a wonderful place to unwind. An ideal base for hiking, cycling and horseback riding. Two dolmens are almost in the backyard of the cottage. A nice bike ride through the forest takes you to, for example, the Boomkroonpad or the Gasselterveld, a beautiful swimming facility in the forest for the necessary cooling on hot days. In the Hunebedcentrum in Borger you will learn all about the earliest history of this region. The nearby cities of Emmen and Assen also have a lot to offer, such as Wildlands and the Drents Museum. There are plenty of trips to think of from Drouwen. The landlords will be happy to show you the way.
