In wooded Norg is this romantic, thatched, spacious nature house for four for rent. The detached nature house is located on a sandy path on a plot of 1000 m². It is part of the Oosterduinen. An old recreation area with private vacation homes. It is a perfect place if you love cycling or hiking in the wooded area of North Drenthe. The cities of Groningen (23 kilometers) and Assen (15 kilometers) are also nearby. The old village of Norg is within walking distance of the house. Here are still many authentic farms and a church from the 12th century. The stores and restaurants in the village have everything to offer for the holidaymaker.
Nature and surroundings
The house is in a mixed forest with thick oaks and Scots pines with sunny spots in between. If you are lucky, you can see the deer walking by and the squirrels climbing through the trees. There is also plenty to see for bird lovers. Nearby are old nature reserves that have their origins in the last ice age, such as the moorland Noordse Veld, the Schilleveen, the Schipmeer and the Fochteloërveen. In the area are many bicycle paths and hiking trails to enjoy nature.
