A beautifully located nature house for up to four people overlooking the Valtherbos. In the spacious room there is a TV and a sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle senseo machine and a microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped! There is a shower with toilet on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs there are two single beds. Any bicycles you bring can be stored in a log cabin near the cottage. There is also a possibility to rent bicycles in Valthe or Odoorn.
Nature and surroundings
The Hondsrug of Drenthe offers numerous attractions. Bike paths, forest paths, sandy paths, cobblestone paths; they crisscross De Hondsrug. Nature with burial mounds, dolmens, fens, moors and beautiful villages. In short, the perfect environment for walking, cycling, mountain biking and complete relaxation. In the village is a traditional bakery with delicious bread and other treats. The center of Emmen is six kilometers away with a large shopping center. Some places of interest: Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen (7.0 kilometers), Hunebed D36 & D37 (Valther Tweeling) Valthe Zuid (1.3 kilometers), Hunebed D35 Klijndijk/Valthe (1.4 kilometers), Hunebed D34 Valthe West (2.8 kilometers), Eppiesbargie burial mound (2.6 kilometers), World War II hiding den (1.1 kilometers), Margarethakerk Odoorn (circa 1200 A.D., six kilometers), Open Air Museum Ellert & Brammert (13.3 kilometers), the moors with flocks of sheep of Exloo, Poolshoogte Veenpark, Bargercompascuum (21 kilometers), Plopsaland Coevorden (five kilometers), Attractiepark Drouwenerzand (18 kilometers) and Kabouterland Exloo (six kilometers).
