Spend the night in Scandinavian atmospheres in the middle of a beautiful and wooded nature reserve in the Drentsche Aa area. Here you can enjoy peace, space and nature on your own private terrace overlooking nature and forest. If you are lucky, you will see a deer walking. The nature house has its own entrance, a living/dining room with a sitting area and spacious dining area, an open kitchen of 30 m², a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with two box-spring beds and the other with a box-spring bed and a bunk bed. The chalet is suitable for friendly couples and groups of friends as well as families. The beautiful surroundings have many activities and sights to offer for all groups, and cities like Assen, Emmen and Groningen are also nearby. Of course, your four-legged friend is also welcome. The chalet is well insulated and has a private terrace. Parking is possible on site and there is a lockable bike shed that can be used free of charge. There is free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a radio on which music can also be streamed. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and electric hobs. Crockery, cutlery and other supplies are provided.

The nature house is located in the middle of the Drentsche Aa area, one of the last intact stream valleys in the country. It consists of an old, characteristic, Drents cultural landscape with grasslands, woods, hedgerows, fields and heathland. The Drentsche Aa actually consists of two streams that continue to flow together near Gasteren in the direction of the city of Groningen. The area is 3,966 hectares and consists of a complex of nature reserves, including the Balloërveld, the Gasterse Duinen, the Gasterse Holt, the Kampsheide, the Eexterveld and the Zeegserduinen. These nature reserves are interconnected by hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes and, in addition to the ever-surprising nature, are also home to special elements such as dolmens and burial mounds, all of which are found in this area.
