This is a small-scale Bed and Breakfast with one guesthouse, so lots of privacy. The price includes a very extensive breakfast. Price per night €105, = additional third person € 40, = per night. Bedroom overlooking the garden, offers two box-spring beds and a sitting area, TV and free WiFi. Next door a room with a sofa bed for a possible third person, 1.40 m. wide. Breakfast is also served in this room. Weather permitting, it can be served outside on the terrace. Free use of coffee and tea with a cookie and cup a soup. Refrigerator, microwave and crockery is available. Meals can be taken away also we can offer a simple meal. All rooms are non-smoking. No pets. Across the quiet road begins the Hijkerveld, Foundation of the Drents Landscape, which is among the largest moors in Drenthe. On the Hijkerveld there are hiking trails of four or seven kilometers, the field is crossed by bicycle paths. The Hijkerveld is an ideal cycling and walking area with a beautiful natural horizon, fens, primeval forest and sheepfold. There is an information center in a haystack and Scottish Highlanders and Schonebeker moorland sheep walk with their shepherd. There are many Iron Age and Bronze Age burial mounds, and you will also find bird sanctuary Diependal with a bird-watching hut and photo hut.
