This nature house is a spacious, luxurious and bright forest house in the middle of the beautiful National Park Drents-Friese Wold. The house is completely free situated on a beautiful forest plot of over 1500 square meters. The forest house has four bedrooms with spacious and comfortable double beds. In two bedrooms the box-spring beds can also be pushed apart. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, as is one of the two bathrooms. The cozy living room is open and bright with a large dining table, spacious corner sofa and cozy wood stove. The house and the kitchen are very fully equipped and fully equipped. Moreover: in early 2026, the house will be equipped with a new, more spacious kitchen. In the morning squirrels are active in the trees. Around the house there are several terrace spots, both in the shade and in the sun. Stay outside by the outdoor fireplace in the evening, too!
Nature and surroundings
The Drents-Friese Wold is one of the largest Dutch nature reserves, on the border of the provinces of Friesland, Drenthe and Overijssel. The National Park is designated as a Natura2000 area and consists of forest, heathland and drifting sands. As a result, it offers plenty of recreational opportunities, from numerous hiking trails and beautiful cycling routes to mountain biking on one of the most beautiful mountain bike routes. There is also plenty for the whole family to do. The sheepfold of the Drents-Friese Wold is a five-minute walk from the nature house. In the vicinity are several swimming pools and swimming lakes, such as the Spokeplas and the Blauwe Meer. Several beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the nature reserve are directly accessible from the forest house. In addition, the area offers several special cultural treasures, such as museums, burial mounds and medieval brink villages. The Shakespeare Theatre and Forest Theatre are located a short distance away, so culture lovers can also enjoy the area.
