This nature house/Wellness house, is a detached apartment with its own entrance. It is characterized by a quiet serene atmosphere where you can really come to yourself for a while, closed off from the outside world. Around the apartment are two terraces. At the pond you can observe frogs, salamanders and dragonflies during the mating season or food hunting. During the stay you can use the entire garden. In the borders bloom cheerfully colored plants in spring until deep into autumn, attracting many different insects and animals. Behind the apartment is a vegetable garden with greenhouse and a fruit orchard where you can pick an apple or pear from the tree to eat in season. There is also the opportunity in the evening to light a fire in the wood stove on one of the terraces or in the fire basket in the meadow. On the bench in front of the house you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the water and the countryside.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located exactly on the border with Groningen and Drenthe. The environment of the nature house is therefore very diverse, it varies from ribbon development and vast farmlands and wetlands, to lush greenstone villages, such as Annen and Zuidlaren. If you love nature, you can indulge yourself in the woods, heathland, meanders on the water, in nature reserves, dolmens, etc. If you prefer cities, culture, movies, theater, terraces, good food and shopping, then Groningen Veendam, Hoogezand, Assen and Emmen are nearby. The area offers something for everyone. In addition to the above, you can also enjoy walking in the area, cycling on any kind of bike, boating, gliding, golfing, swimming, going to the zoo, using wellness facilities at an additional cost, you name it. It can all be found in the area. In the nature house are all leaflets for even more information about the area. There are also games available
