Our guest house, is rightly a nature house. It lies in the stream valley of the Drenthe Aa, just outside the municipal boundary of Ruinen, a beautiful village in Drenthe. On the Brink you will find cozy cafes and brasseries. Parking is available in the yard of our Saxon farm from 1850. The accommodation, at the southern end of a very large barn with completely unobstructed views, autonomous and fully equipped. Through the glass front, a very far view of rolling ash fields and the (Ruiner) Runer Aa. You can find complete rest here and see many a.o. deer! On request and free of charge we can put a crib down and sleep downstairs in case of problems with climbing stairs. We also offer free of charge two bicycles and an air conditioner, great on hot days. Come and enjoy all year round on our always beautiful Dwingelder- and Holtingerveld and all the other great, surrounding nature reserves. The supermarket is behind the Brink at 700m distance! Our cottage has wonderful floor heating....
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is within walking distance of the beautiful Dwingelderveld and the Ruiner Wold. To the north lies the Drents-Friese Wold and to the north-west the Weerribben! There is so much natural beauty here! Moreover, one hour travel from Amsterdam. For a longer stay, this accommodation is also ideally located. In front of our farm, a regional bus commutes every hour between Meppel and Hoogeveen. Both cities have a station, check the NS-planner. Should you not want to leave, you can cook, lounge and binchen (Netflix, free wifi) on our fine large TV. There is a luxury kitchen, outside free use of firebowl and bbq. There is no need (our idea for a relaxing weekend or vacation) to purchase anything for living (including kitchen spices, oil, matches, toilet paper). And bed, bath and kitchen linen, air conditioning and bikes, all included in the price....
